16.1 hands
1997 Clydesdale Mare

$2200 to perfect home only
SOLD! Freyja could not be going to a more perfect home. We hope your dad loves her as much as we do, Sarah! She's going to love her new life.

Do you like hairy horses? Freyja is ready to retire from the daily grind of lessons. She would love to go to a home where she would be loved and brushed by her very one person! Her sweet disposition and willing attitude would make her an excellent adult beginner or husband horse, and her heart truly lies on the trails. She is willing to work w/t/c in the arena, and has jumped 2'6" but she is getting older we'd like to find her a home where she is valued for her kindness and companionship rather than her athletic abilities.

Loads, bathes, clips, crosses water, hacks out in a group or alone and was originally adopted from Starry Skies LLC, so any buyer would need to be approved by them before she can sell.

Hot Summer Delight
15.3 hands
2005 Black Pinto Mare

$6000 to good home
SOLD! We can't wait to see what great things you and she do together, Erika!
You are the perfect new "mom" for her.

" Ffiona" (AHA Hot Summer Delight) is a true sweetheart and aims to please her riders. Her gaits are smooth and easy to ride, without sacrificing correct balance or rhythm and her canter is extremely uphill, smooth and ground-covering.

She is a dream to ride, but has been in and out of regular work over the past year so she is currently lacking the topline that I would like to see on her. She is sensative to the aides, with a nice soft mouth and moves readily off of leg. She showed training level two years ago with results steadily in the high 60's, and with some conditioning would be ready for first level. She has potential to be a great adult amateur mount and is solid in leg yield, shoulder in, haunches in, half pass, etc. She is also happy to hack out on trails, both solo and in a group, leading or following, and jumps with beautiful form, scope and bascule up to 2'6" with potential to go higher (but is not currently in condition to jump).

Delight is triple registered, Half-Arab/NSH/Pinto with amazing potential for a youth mount. She is extremely calm under saddle, and caring and loving on the ground. She clips, bathes, loads (though can be somewhat stubborn if she does not trust the situation), and is up to date on all vaccinations and wormer.

Her only vice is that she can be antsy and somewhat herdbound when she is alone in the barn or field, but shows absolutely no herd-boundness when she is being ridden or worked. She has great legs, a long archy neck and adorably tippy ears. She is conformationally correct, and has a nice thick mane and tail, and just look at those stockings!

Her mother, WH Bey Delight, is a black Arabian Halter Champion. Her father, Hot Prince, was 2002 Canadian National Jr Halter Champion and is homozygous pinto and black. It is possible that Delight is homozygous black as well. Delight was bred by Chacaro So-Black Arabians in 2005. She has just recently come back from full lease and will continue in her conditioning and training until she is sold. Her price will reflect her show record and training advancement. Don’t let this one pass you up! At this price, you'll be hard pressed to find another horse as nice.

Our sweet boy Caspian is looking for a new home with a knowledgable, experienced rider who wishes to take him to the next level. He was started under saddle two years ago, and has developed a good, strong topline with gaits to match. He is currently schooling first and second level movements, learning to collect, and has huge potential in dressage. He has a massive trot stride with lots of suspension, and his canter has a clear beat with a rocking horse swing to it. Ride him in the arena or on the trails. Has shown intro level dressage, placing first and second, and always scores well in sporthorse-in-hand classes.

Caspi came to us with some trust issues, and was late to physically mature. We have worked hard to give him a solid foundation as a riding horse, and he is now ready to take in any direction! Because of his past, we do not currently hold his papers but you may be able to get them through the AHA.

He is a lover, and will beg for scratches and treats if you let him, but is not overly pushy. His only issue is that he is a typical looky arabian, and has been known to spook when ridden by less-confident or experienced riders, so he is definitely not a horse for beginners unfamiliar with spooking.
